The problem with the m-audio code 61

Now I warn you that I speak English badly

Hey. There was a problem with the keyboard. I turn it on, then some indicators light up a little red. Everything remained in this state. Controllers remained in working condition. The keyboard was powered by USB.

  • Hey Александр,

    Thanks for posting!

Red LEDs normally indicate that the Code's faders are set to MIDI mode but it sounds like you might be saying that the LEDs are dimmed or not illuminating correctly.

If that is what's happening, I would recommend testing the USB connectivity of the Code by using a different USB cable, trying different USB ports on your computer, and try using a different computer to see if you can reproduce the same behavior. If you experience the same behavior regardless of how the Code is connected, this sounds like it could be related to the hardware itself and it may require service. Warranty and non-warranty claims cannot be handled here on the forum but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Warranty or Service Inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the M-Audio Support Page. Select Warranty or Service Inquiry from the drop down menu. This will not require a support code.

    or

    • For faster support, call or email your nearest Support Office or International Distributor. Select your country to find the nearest office.

Make sure to reference or link to this thread to help out the support team.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions.
