M-Audio Product Repair

A few years Ago I decide buy M-audio equipaments for my Studio. I bouth the Axiom 49 i and a Profire 610 interface. Today, my interface have all potentiometers and pre amplifiers broked. The volume on my Yamaha Hs8 monitors are always changing without my comand. The pre amplifiers have a noise that makes Impossible Record anything. And when I tought that was an isolated problem, my Axiom start to give me big problems too. Before all this I had to wait more than an year before upgrade my operacional system of my iMac. Because M audio stopped the drivers update. My english is rusty, cause I'm from Brazil. But I had to Tell you that sad history on my way. I'm frustretad with all this. I love music, and I work on music business. Now I can't work till buy a decent equipament. So finally I want to give a Idea to This company. Before start making all those New gears, you should First give your old consumers the assistence for all your old gears with all problems we always see on the foruns around the world. Spend my money chossing m audio was the worse Deal I made.

    I'm sorry you're having trouble with your equipment!

    The ProFire series has been discontinued for some time now and like all FireWire devices, not just those made by M-Audio, support is very limited. You can find the latest drivers for the ProFire 610 here, at the M-Audio website:

    As far as any M-Audio equipment that is not functioning properly, I would advise you to get in touch with our technical support team to coordinate service. Warranty and non-warranty claims cannot be handled here on the forum but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Warranty or Service Inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the M-Audio Support Page. Select Warranty or Service Inquiry from the drop down menu. This will not require a support code.

    or

    • For faster support, call or email your nearest Support Office or International Distributor. Select your country to find the nearest office.

  • I purchased a M-Audio USB Midisport 2x2 used. When I plug in, the lights do not lightup. I believe it is not functioning. Can you help me with info on how to send in for repair?
