  • Hi,

    Thanks for posting!

When recording sequences from the Trigger Finger Pro, you will want to adjust the swing value from the unit itself. If you hit the "SEQ" sequence button, you should have an option to adjust the swing between 50% and 75%.

If you have already recorded the sequence into Cubase and are just playing it back, you'll want to find an option in Cubase to adjust the swing of the midi sequence. Maybe this article will help:

    https://ask.audio/articles/advanced-m...

I don't know how easy it will be to adjust the swing in Cubase if you are not used to this, so chances are you'll be better off just adjusting your sequence swing from the TFP and re-recording the sequence.

    Hope this helps!

Yes, Corey, it sounds to me like Rakesh, the OP (original poster) needs to go into his CUBASE DAW's HELP menu and perform a topical or INDEX SEARCH on < Swing > or perhaps < Quantize > or
< Groove Quantize > and learn...

    1) how to adjust the swing of a track region or clip, after it was already created in the sequencer

-- or optionally, learn from CUBASE HELP...

    2) how to set up Cubase to automatically place a user-defined amount of swing on incoming MIDI notes (i.e., arriving into CUBASE) during Cubase track RECORD.

In all forthrightness, as you've correctly intimated, Corey S., the desired end result Rakesh describes in his query (last clause, after the comma) has nothing at all to do with a Trigger Finger Pro operation, although he could choose to

    3) Play live or or already-recorded TFP sequences from TFP into CUBASE, while CUBASE is RECORDING to a new track, but with TFP hardware's Swing adjusted to his liking, after engaging TFP's SEQ function, just as you've suggested.

I hope this added additional insight with clarity to your excellent reply to Rakesh, Corey.
