Unable to use M-Audio M-Track 2X2 ASIO

So I've been using FL Studio and bought M-Track 2X2 Vocal Studio Pro and was using M-Audio M-Track 2X2 ASIO but from last month it started giving an error that, "there are not enough ASIO output channels available. At least 2 channels are needed."

I've tried reinstalling the driver as well but no luck.

Please help me with this

Thanks

    Hey Akaal Beats,

    Thanks for posting!

Sorry to hear you are having trouble with that! This error message usually indicates that another application is currently using the ASIO driver.

    I recommend verifying the following:

    1. The M-Track is securely connected and recognized in Device Manager under Sound, Video and Game Controllers.

    2. You can receive output from the interface from different software.

    3. No other applications are currently using the selected ASIO driver.

If you are still unable to access the ASIO driver within FL, it may be hardware related. Warranty and non-warranty claims cannot be handled here on the forum but I can point you in the right direction! Here are a couple of options that you could choose from:

    • Submit a Warranty or Service Inquiry with our Technical Support team by logging onto the M-Audio Support Page. Select Warranty or Service Inquiry from the drop down menu. This will not require a support code.

    or

    • For faster support, call or email your nearest Support Office or International Distributor. Select your country to find the nearest office.

Make sure to reference or link to this thread to help out the support team.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any additional questions.

  • I’m confused
The problem is not only in FL but also in Pro Tools and Ableton as well. I've been restarting the PC and checking programs in Task Manager if any of these DAWs are using ASIO. The first thing I do after turning ON PC is opening FL. Is there any way to find which program is using the ASIO at that moment.

Addition to this I think something is also missing in the recording bar in Sounds option I think with name 1/2 as well. I have no idea what just happened.

    Hey Akaal Beats,

Thank you for the updated information!

There definitely seems to be an issue with the USB connection. The yellow icon next to the interface in Device Manager is indicating a connectivity problem. This is again confirmed by the fact that the M-Track is not showing up in your Sound Settings menu. It should appear like this:

I would suggest trying a different USB cable and removing any USB hubs or adapters to connect directly to your computer. Also, try using different USB ports on your computer. If you are still unable to establish a connection, there's most likely an issue with the interface's USB port. In which case, you need to contact our support team for either warranty or non-warranty action.

    Hope this helps!

  • I’m confused
So I used a different USB port this time and now it appears like this

and before this, the Panel used to say "Not Streaming but after changing the port
it says Streaming, so that's good.

But Problem with DAW is still there

  • So I Instead of opening 64 Bit FL Studio, I opened the 32 Bit Version and it works in it but when I again switched to 64 Bit, it gave the error.
