You Should No Longer Delete Lists/Audiences from Mailchimp

Due to recent changes toMailChimp’s data processing policy, Maximizer users who are currently usingMaximizer connector for MailChimp need to be aware of the following criticalchange:

Deleting an entry fromMailChimp List/Audience without archiving will permanently delete that entryfrom MailChimp. This entry cannot be re-imported back into the MailChimplist/audience by using the Maximizer connector for MailChimp.

To be compliant with GDPR, MailChimprecently added a new way to delete contacts from a MailChimp Audience/List.Going forward a user can either delete and archive a contact from theAudience/List which is a soft delete, or they can delete and remove a contactwithout archiving which is a hard delete.  If you intend to delete someoneand re-add them via the Maximizer connector for MailChimp, you need to use thedelete and archive option. For more info on the policy change please refer tothe link here  https://mailchimp.com/legal/data-processing-addendum/
