Is there a way to prevent users from running certain reports like the column report, which effectively is no different to an export to Excel and a possible data breach?
Thanks

If you look at the user's access rights, there are two options.  If you turn off 'Allow Export' it removes the Excel option from the Reports menu.

The other place is in the Printer options - you can disable printing to HTML, File, Custom Report etc.

Thanks Phil. The Export right is fine and this is disabled, but it is that you can still export data out by running a Column Report. Those Printer options are effectively redundant for the web access product and were a legacy thing left over from the Windows client.

We have had FOUR of our largest customers report this as an issue since posting this message. It is a BREACH of data security as a Column Report is exactly the same as an Export to Excel. At present we have had to create TWO versions of the Employee site, one with the menu, the other without. Can the Printer options in the user security settings not prevent this?
