Restrict Text Formatting in Notes

We created a note for all contacts to keep general info and this notes are being updated by different users. Some updates were manually typed in and some were copied and pasted from another source such as email or Word. As time went by and updates were made, the contents of notes will contain different format and became messy. Is there an easy way to unify the formatting of fonts in Notes? (e.g. only accept plain text?)

Thanks
Perry

Hey Perry - If on-premise you could write a tool to check for anything but plain text and convert back to plain text. If you're in CRM-Live there's probably no way to do this however.

Keep in mind you can always switch to an on-premise solution if the live version doesn't meet your requirements.

If notes are entered in History tab they will be plain text even when pasted from email or MS Word.

If note report is printed there is an option to strip HTML formatting.
