search text without the end of string wildcard

Hi - is it possible to stop a search on a text based value from including the wildcard at the end?
An example I have is for lets say Country name = UK
When running this search the country Ukraine is also returned in the search.
Now I can create two separate search strings in an advanced search e.g =UK <>Ukraine and this works.
The issue is that if you then catalog this search the next time you view its syntax it changes the search criteria to <>UK and <>Ukraine. Is that a defect?
Is there a special character that placed at the end of the string removes the wildcard?
Many thanks

Unfortunately there is no way to do exact search except from quick search. If you put Address:UK you will get only AB entries with country UK.

If you want to use both search strings in saved search you need to put another search between these searches to prevent merging that happens.
