In need of a Rainmaker ?

mobile/integrated marketing consulting
I am looking for consulting work as a integrated marketing specialist who just recently sold his startup mobile marketing company to a publically traded company which I served as CEO. How can I best utilize Media Bistro to promote my services ?

  • Hi Mark,
Thanks for your interest in mediabistro.com.

If you want to work as a consultant on a project basis, Freelance Marketplace would be a good fit for you. Freelance Marketplace is a searchable database of freelancers that is accessed by more than 100,000 employers with projects to fill. There is a charge to be listed as a freelancer, but you can try the service for free for 30 days, with no obligation. For details on the trial, go to http://www.mediabistro.com/fmtrial.

Our job board also features freelance and consulting positions. You can view all the openings here: http://www.mediabistro.com/joblistings/. On the left hand side you can do a key work search for "consultant" to see the current openings. You can also select "Freelance/Project Basis" under the "Duration" heading to see all the freelance opportunities listed. From there you can also narrow it jobs down by location or industry.

You can also create customized job searches and have the results emailed to you. You can set up multiple alerts with different search criteria here: http://www.mediabistro.com/joblisting...

Our newest feature is Scoop Jobs, which I see you've already signed up for. Scoop Jobs matches candidates based on various factors such as salary range, occupation and location. Scoop Jobs notifications come to your inbox each time there is a new job posting that matches the criteria you fill out in the profile. Not all employers choose to make their listing a Scoop Job, so it's always good to still set up job alerts to notify you of openings.

Let me know if you have any more questions.
