EMPLOYEEI’m Confident0Hi Dimitry,
This question is a little vague, but I will offer you several solutions that may fit the specifications of your problem. This is something we see all the time and can deal with very simply. In any case, you will want to email email@example.com with the details about the review and a link to the content in order for any action to be taken.
1. If you are a merchant who has found a negative review on your site, you may submit the content for potential removal by contacting our support desk with the URL to the content, title of the review, and some information about why the content should be removed. Please note that we do not remove reviews simply due to a negative experience. In these situations, we would like the merchant to respond to the review and offer an explanation/rebuttal against the consumer's claims. If the content is blatantly in violation of our terms of service or contains explicit content, it will of course be removed.
2. If you are a consumer who has posted a review about a merchant that you would like to retract, we recommend posting a follow-up review to clarify the situation and explain why you have a different view on the matter at this later point in time. If the review you posted was defamatory in nature, it can be taken down by contacting our support desk and explaining the situation.
Please understand that we really do not want to remove reviews outright because it detracts from the community image we are seeking to foster here at MerchantCircle. We definitely understand that merchants need to take care of their business image and are happy to remove content that is inappropriate or counterproductive to our community aims.
Thank you for reaching out to us and I hope that this answers your question. if you need any further assistance, please contact our support desk.
Thank you for using MerchantCircle and have a very Happy Thanksgiving.
"Please note that we do not remove reviews simply due to a negative experience." I think you do allow merchants to remove reviews that are negative. Below is a review I posted about a local business (name has been removed) that when it was not there two days later I thought I didn't post it correctly, I posted it again and it is again gone. I don't see anything that I can see vilates your terms of service. I used MerchantCircle to find good service in my local area and instead discovered there is a reason there are only 5-star reviews.
"Cannot seem to get past the phone service they use. My first call went to their phone service and the service could not tell me if they had a service location in my area (was mobile and using my phone). Hung up and used my phone to locate the address. Went to the address and did not see them. My second call again went to the phone service while I was sitting at the business address the phone service was unable to find me anyone to talk to or verify the address and kept citing they were the "after hours phone service" -- during posted business hours and had no information. They said they could have someone call me back, I waited 10 minutes in my car then I took my business elsewhere."
