I have web site design with godaddy and can't seem to figure out how to add the script in the right place for a logo or a link. I know how to copy the script and choose a block on the website and bring up the script but whenever I place anything it either over laps something of just isn't right. Age related technology problem. you can go to www.canddsepticandplumbing.com and look in the bottom left of the page and see some problems. I tried to open the box with the links but it's never as easy as copy and paste. thanks

My account has been being erroneously billed $5.00 month "for extra cities"?? I want the billing STOPPED immediately and any amonts billed immediately refunded. (please)

Hello Trish: I cannot cancel the $5.00/mo erroneous charge manually - I see the charge in my Billing Activity but when I click to Manage Services no $5.00/mo service is listed for me to cancel.

Billing Activity shows $40.00 (8mos) of $5 charges - I want the entire amount re-credited please.

Hmm. Strange. Are you sure you only have one active MerchantCircle listing? If the charge is active it should show up under Manage Services.

I do not have access to any administrative controls for support but I am happy to pass your message along to our support team. Just provide me with a link to your listing so they can check out your account.

Hi Dan,

You should be able to claim the listing and update. If not you can have it removed. If you are having a hard time entering a listing, just temporarily enter a different phone number and email (this is what prevents you from entering a second listing).

Then have the duplicate removed. Then just change the phone number on your new listing.

paid service issues.

Where are our external links WE PAID FOR?

In fact we pay in advance for this feature, and MC did remove funds from my bank for them, and I expect them to be seen, activated and ONLINE.

External links are a paid for item. About 5 dollars a month for extra ones which you fully control. Although I do not like how they are placed as a line across: But, that is another issue.

Nevertheless, they are a great feature to consider. Especially now that they have fixed them once more. But, how they show and place them has always been undesired for a paid for product upgrade in MY OPINION.

My home phone number is attached to a business on your site. I'd like my phone number removed from the listing. It's a Pawn Shop and as you might imagine, in this economy, I get multiple calls every day. Some are amusing but it's mostly really annoying, especially when I'm asked if I know their new number!! Please help!

Hi Bruce, as long as you have the receive invitations box checked in your preferances you will contiue to receive invites from people outside of your marketing area. For example, I invite other merchants through the emails Merchant Circle sends me when a merchant accepts my invite. There are usually 6 merchants in that email that MC invites me to connect with. I cannot remove any merchants from that list before I send it out. If a merchant you are connected with accepted my invitation there is a good chance you will get an invite from me through the MC system. If over time multiple merchants you are connected to accecpt my invitations then you may get multiple invites. This is the system MC has set up. The only way I can see that you could stop the invites from merchants outside of your territory is for you to opt out of receiving invitations.

To look for your listing go to MerchantCircle and use the search tool and type your business name and the city and state location. If your business does not display in the search results there might be something wrong.

Here are some reasons you may be having a hard time finding your listing on MerchantCircle.

1) Confirm Your Listing
Upon signing up, you should have received a confirmation email. Visit your listing page, do you see a grey box that says “pending confirmation”? If not, then you are good to go or at least you know this isn't the issue.

2) Select Your Cities
Make sure you chose your extra city under Business Information>Cities Served
Go here: http://www.merchantcircle.com/merchan...

3) Choose a Category
Make sure you selected a Category for your business. Choose your category under Business Information>Categories. You can choose up to 4 categories.

4) Enter Keywords!
If you want your listing to be found by keyword search, make sure you entered several keywords (up to 10) in the Keywords section under Business Information. Keywords help you get found based on searches within the network.

I am trying to remove a consumer account that I created on MerchantCircle. I registered my information when I signed up for a neighbor profile and would like to remove it now. How can I remove my neighbor information? What is the quickest and easiest way to remove my profile?

I just learned MerchantCircle support recently changed the removal process for Neighbor Profiles.

Here is the new removal process to guarantee your Neighbor Profile is removed (I copied this from a recently updated Help Center article):

To remove a Neighbor Profile, just click the option to "Email Us" option in the right column of the Help Center.

ENTER SUBJECT LINE: Remove Neighbor Profile

Since we can only delete Neighbor Profiles by email, be SURE to tell us the email you used to set up your Neighbor Profile!

Merchants with Business Listings
Business listings include a complementary Neighbor Profile and unfortunately you cannot delete this profile without deleting your entire business listing. If this is what you would like to do, click here.

We were recently informed about 2 scathing reviews about our company on the Merchantcircle site. Not only are the "reviews" hateful and completely untrue, we suspect that they have been planted by unscrupulous competition.

Our efforts to have them removed - even siting a violation of Merchantcircle terms - have found no justice. In attempts to report the violation via the e-mail link, the e-mail address was found invalid.

We're a reputable company and our integrity is everything. We are simply seeking resolution of this issue.

I apparently had invited a merchant before that merchant had verified their listing. The owner informed me they never received the MC invitation. I've been trying to invite them again, but I keep getting a message stating that I've already invited this merchant. What do I do?

I have not received any type of response to my question! Can anyone at MC help? My friend insists they never received my invitation, and I cannot resend it because MC tells me I've already contacted them! This is frustrating!

I think we have to withdraw our invites before we can re-invite them. Or, get their email address & invite them that way.

I am trying to claim 1 of 4 duplicate listings. I logged out of my account and repeated the process, clicked 'claim', and entered my information. The claiming/publishing cannot progress because I have an additional listing linked to the email address I provided. I don't understand why I can't claim 2 different listings from one email account.

Any suggestions/words of wisdom?

You need to use a different email for each account. Also, you can also only claim one listing per hour. These are "anti-spam" measures.

MerchantCircle does not provide Real Estate services. We are just an interactive online directory service for merchants and consumers.

It sounds like you are referring to the Real Estate service request feature on unclaimed (unregistered) MerchantCircle business listings. This is just a feature that helps consumers find available merchants using MerchantCircle as their online platform.

The service request feature is ONLY on unclaimed (unregistered) listings where there isn't a "merchant behind the wheel."

Once the listing is registered (claimed), the feature comes off since the merchant becomes "available online" to browsing customers.

Your organization shut down my webpage www.opalelectricservicesllc.com sometime last month without my knowledge. I have been a loyal customer for several years and pay monthly with a credit card. When I did my own research, I discovered the credit card had expired and you shut down my website. I immediately updated my credit card information and am waiting for my website to re appear on the Internet. I have sent 2 emails to support dept. but no response thus far. Please advise me of the status of my website as a lack of it is hurting my business. Thank you.

Hey Edward,

If you sent an email to support, they will get back to you usually within 12-24 hours.

From our knowledge, domains only cancel after a 2nd billing error. The system will try once, send a "billing error message" then try again a week later.

You should have received a system-generated email about the billing error. If you didn't, be sure to check your email spam filter settings (you may be missing out on important emails).

Support should be able to help you out. But have patience, domains can take a few days to get back, since they are leased from a 3rd party (eNom) reseller.

First, view the actual listing page to see if the information appears correct on the listing page itself. If so, then you have successfully edited the information and it just hasn’t updated in search engines yet. Click here to learn more about cache and browser history.

If the information on the page is incorrect, then this might be a duplicate, incorrect listing.

Sometimes MerchantCircle can have more than one listing for your business (sorry about that). If you already have a correct listing, just submit the incorrect duplicate for removal here: http://www.merchantcircle.com/optout/...

If you don't already have a listing, you can easily claim this listing (free) and update the information for free!

I signed up as a consumer under your "Neighbor" program and I can't figure out how to edit my profile information. I want to change my information and also the photo that is displayed on my profile. Is this something that can be done, and if so how?

You can quickly update your consumer "Neighbor" Profile Information, including your name, zip code, and story by clicking "Update Profile" in your Neighbor Dashboard. Simply go to this link: http://www.merchantcircle.com/profile... adjust your information and click save!

As a consumer you also have the option at anytime to change your profile photo. To change your photo, go to "Update Profile", scroll down, and select any of the existing avatars or upload your own photo from your computer to display.
