How long does it take for my business listing to show up on merchant circle?
It has been hours and I don't see it. I have tried all the "fixes" listed in the Help Center.

Hi Meredith,

You should be able to instantly view your listing once it is claimed. It takes a day or so to come up in search on the network and the search engines, but you should be able to view it. Can you provide a link to your business listing so I check it out?

I have not done any business with Merchant Circle since 2010. Today they pulled 35.88 out of my account for no reason at all. I want a reason and a response as to why they are pulling money out of my account and I want my account reimbursed ASAP. I also want to be called and I want this resolved before I take further action legally. I have absolutely no clue as to what this withdrawal is considering I have not used any of their services since 2010 nor have I authorized any payments to be deducted. Hi Geoff,

Clearly, some merchants on MC get a lot of customers through our site and others are still working to develop that steady stream of customers from MC. There are different ways to explain the gap in results that sometimes occurs, but I would say in large part it comes down to your location and business category, in addition to how active your listing is. As far as tangible actions that can be taken to improve advertising results on our site - experiment by altering your categories/cities served, try different paid products, as well as keep your listing as active as possible - and this should yield profitable results. Of course, the key is creativity and consistency over a long period of time.

Multiple listings cannot be combined or managed from one account, so the best solution is to have them removed through the link above.

I don't think that you and the folks at MC are reading the requests for help adequately. The videos are not answering my question!! Pleaae do not send me links to videos that do'nt address my questions.

What I want to know is how do I build lists of emails from my connections. I have over 1300 connections and I want to be able to send newletters out to 500 at a time. The package that I am paying for only allows me to send to 500 at a time.. I don't want to and I don't have the budget to pay $99/month for the 5000 package. I do not want to use my various email account contacts for this purpose. I want to send to my connects. Is this possible or no???

You entry on CBS Insurance Service using a phone number (323) 255 -0999 belongs to an individual since the year 2002. Yet in your web page it says it is that of the CBS Insurance. Please remove it or you can be a candidate of litigation in the future.

I just tested the blogging feature to see if it was broken due to a bug.

I posted the blog - it did not initially show up due to a browser issue, which I suspect may be the same issue you observed.

Once I cleared my browser the blog then appeared like normal. Here is how to fix browser issues: http://merchantcircle.desk.com/custom...

Try clearing your browser and then click refresh, and that should fix it. If the problem persists then give me more details on what is happening and we can fix it from there.

I am trying to claim the business listing for Seth Worstell Auction Company. Our URL is incorrect, I have temporarily fixed this by registered the URL that was listed and setting it as a redirect, but I would like to update our infomration on our listing and create a widget for our site.

Hi Joe,

Unfortunately, Google sometimes stores outdated content in their search results - this is called "cached" info. It will stop showing this info on Google when Google's bots re-crawl the page and realize the cached info needs to be removed and replaced with the updated/correct info.

You may be able to facilitate this process using Google's "public cached URL removal tool". However, even if you send them this formal request, it is still at Google's discretion as to when they will re-crawl the page to update the info. Either way, Google decides when they will update the cached info in their search results, and none of us have any real control over it.

Usually you can expect cached URLs to be removed from Google search results within a few weeks to a few months.

Great. I had to "sign up" for this site to bring the problem to your attention and now that I want to close it, it won't let me. This is total BS. Remove my account when you are done removing my phone number. I see you post people's private phone numbers incorrectly habitually. Shame on you. I will be following up to make sure this is completed in a timely fashion.

I just confirmed with our team that your phone number on the "Morning Glory Wellness" listing has been removed from our site.

Please know, even though the listing is 100% deleted, it may still appear in major search results (like Google) until it cycles out. But if clicked it will NOT be found on our site.

Also, please visit Localeze, a primary source for online directory information, to remove your information. Removing your information from this source will help ensure it is not re-entered back into MerchantCircle and other online directories.

Hi Joe,

The way it works with Google is that when content is updated/removed, it just takes awhile for their bots to recrawl our pages sometimes. Rest assured, Google will update whenever they send their bots, which typically happens regularly in periodic increments.

Hi Joe,

Google has a tool where you can submit a request to them to remove a cached URL from their search results. Unfortunately, even when people submit these forms it can take some time to for them to crawl the pages and then re-index - with or without the form it is still completely up to Google when they will update.

I see another listing with Merchantcircle that is "Kniyes and Defence Depot".

Apologies for the misinformation on that listing. I went and deleted "Kniyes and Defence Depot" as you requested - and it will filter completely out of our MC database within the next couple of days. It will stop showing up on Google when their bots recrawl our pages.

This is a very easy to do. Simply go to "sales & promotions" in the publishing tab in your dashboard. Next you will see a drop down menu in the upper right that says "Select a sale template". Use this to decide which template you want to use.

Please, please help! I have posed this question before, but no real answer yet.

I have over 1300 connections in my network. I am writing blogs and newsletters. I want to send them out to my connections. I purchased upgrade which allows me to send out piblications to up to 500 connections at a time.

Here is the question: How can I create lists of 500 or less of my connections so that I can send out newsletters/blogs?? You previously sent me links to videos that show how to add names from my personal email contacts. That is not what I want to do. I want to be able to send to connections as indicated in the upgrade that I am paying for.

If this is possible of impossible, please let me know the truth. Please help me to resolve this. Or, let me know if this can be done. Since the upgrade includes this it must a way to do it.

Dear Oscar.

This can be done, but its a laborious task, since you have to manually add/categorize each business in a group. Create groups up to 500, so can select them individually to send kurt your newsletters (this isn't applicable to blogs).

Go to the customers tab (then you can either manage or add new customers/businesses).
