Hi Bill,

Here is how you can remove a blog post:

1) Login to your account
2) Click "View My Listing"
3) Click on the "Blog" tab on your listing page
4) Next to each blog there should be an "edit" option - click "edit" next to the blog you wish to remove
5) On the next page it will have a delete option in the bottom right corner, you can use this to delete the blog.

Have a great day!

Dear Patricia,

This is most likely a cookie & cache issue with your browser. This means that Yahoo is storing previously viewed sites and resurfacing pages based on browsing history. Here is a link to our help center to assist with fixing this issue:

Hope you are having a great start to your week!

We have 6 listings for our company (we actually have 3 stores and a recycling center in addition to our corporate office which does not even need to be listed) and NONE of them have correct information attached. I "claimed" one of the listings and am attempting edits (your set-up is NOT very user friendly or easy to navigate, by the way) and I need to be able to claim the other 5 (have tried and have not been allowed) so that I can edit or delete the entries.

Our stores are being misrepresented and I want it fixed asap. Thank you.
Something else I should mention: I don't have any plans to set up multiple email accounts just so these listings can get straightened out....no other business listing site out there (google, yelp, yp, etc...) restricts a merchant to one listing. Let's find a "work-around".

Dear suburbansocial,

Apologies for the delayed response.

Unfortunately the only way to manage multiple listings is through creating separate accounts with separate emails.

If you don't wish to take that route, then the other option is to have the other listings removed by submitting them here: http://merchantcircle.desk.com/custom...

What does the "AdDollars" column mean when "Invite Local Merchants From Your Area" in the Network tab? Is there some significance to it? If there is some type of reward how do we gain it? What type of accounts get it? How does Merchant circle keep track of what merchant gets it? Is there some type of affiliate link? Any help would be appreciated.

If you need my account it is the MN and ND MetLife Insurance Company. If you need to review my website it is online insurance for MN and ND MetLife

Dear Grant,

The "Ad Dollar" program was a program that used to give members virtual currency for actions that were carried out on the site. For instance, merchants would get points for writing blogs, publishing coupons, etc... and could use this virtual currency towards purchasing our paid products. The product has been discontinued, so you may be seeing an old link/page that is in the process of being removed with our upgrading of the merchant dashboard.

Hope you have a great weekend!

Dear Jay,

This might be due to a cook/caching issue? Here is a link to our help center to get more help with this:

It might also be related to having multiple listings? You might have several listings, so the one you have updated might be showing below the others in Google search. Here is another article to help you remove duplicate listings:

when and why did all links become nofollow? Not only does it look horrible, but it also discourages businesses from posting on your site. I don't understand what a company that is dedicated to helping businesses succeed would do this?

Grant,

I believe this has been for a while. This is for the better of the whole network. We were starting to see a lot of "spam" links posted allover the site in blogs, newsletters, the forum, etc... Without a network wide crackdown, it would have been impossible to individually decipher between good & bad links.

Everything we do is in the best interest of both the company & our merchant/consumer members.

Dear John Jay Schwartz,

Try the following category selections as a possible solution:

Top level category: Home and Garden
Second Level Category: Cleaning Services

You could also experiment with other 2nd level cats for possible fits, as well as 3rd level categories.

Dear Vishal,

Like I previously mentioned above, this can be do to an IP block (chick it doesn't seem like it is the car with your issue). It is either a cookie/cache issue with your computer not resetting and showing the same page or you might be trying to use a email address that has already been used on the site.

Here is a link to our help center article on how to clear your cookies/cached information:

When someone searches your business name it shows up: http://www.merchantcircle.com/search?...

When someone searches for "auto detailing" or "car washes" your business is showing up deeper in the search results, but not near the top where you want it. Here are some tips for rising in the search rankings: http://merchantcircle.desk.com/custom...

Hi Merchant Circle,

I've posted multiple complaints against site digitechard.com on their review page after being scammed by their fraudulent business. (I lost almost $600 and have filed complaints with every legal entity that I can). I've also reported their listing for abuse because they use a false address and phone number and are a known fruadulent site. My posts have been deleted, my follow up inquiries to your site have not been returned. It's because of the false positive reviews that your site posted that I felt comfortable ordering from the fraudulent site digitechard.com in the first place.

Why are you supporting an illegal operation? Is my stolen money going to fund their advertisement with you? If businesses pay to be on your site are they allowed to publish any false company information and delete truthful feedback?

I would love some answers!

Thanks!

Dear Mmmh,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Our team actually resolved this situation yesterday. Due to conflicting reports about digitechard.com(many positive + many negative evaluations), we have removed them from our site to ensure safety for our users. Their listing will be cycled out of our system within a couple of days, and will cycle out of the major search engines whenever their bots re-crawl our pages.
