    I noticed that Graham Customs Floors are all 4 star ....I had work done and the customer service was terrible I have been stood up 3 times.... Apparently they can delete bad reviews..

      If you find incorrect information about your business, you have two options for remedy.

      1) If the listing is UNCLAIMED, meaning that the red "CLAIM YOUR BUSINESS!" banner is present, you can register your email address with the listing and maintain the accuracy of the information on your own.

      (This is ideal, it gives you control over the information you present for your business to the public and helps us to keep our information up to date!)

      2) You can submit a request for the entire listing to be removed here:

      In this case, we will take the listing down within 1-2 business days. However, the information connected with that listing is gone, and public access to the page will not exist.

      At MC, we do not edit the business information of unclaimed or claimed listings once we have received it from our directory partners (YP, CityGrid, etc.)

      We want YOU to be a part of our community and present the correct information to your potential customers!

      At this time, you are only able to claim one business listing with a single email. Multiple listings must be claimed with a different email address for each listing.

      Once you have supplied the appropriate information, our support team can get started removing the content that you don't want listed!

      We are currently working on a way for multiple listings to be managed/owned by a single email address, but this development hasn't come down the wire yet - stay tuned!

      When you create a deal on MC, it is linked with your MC listing. This means that when someone wants to view the link that you posted, it will take them immediately tot he MC listing where they will find your business information!

      But I understand where you are coming from, and the re-direct can definitely be a little confusing so I have alerted our product team to your suggestion and we will see what can be done to simplify the user experience!

    You listed our company and gave the address and phone number of a competitor which caused a vendor shipment to be sent to the competitor. You also have us listed at an old address. We edited the incorrect information from the problem above but cannot remove the listing with the wrong address as we cannot log on with the same login/PW. Tired of wasting time on this. Advise how to fix.

Since we draw information from publicly-available sources, it is often times incorrect or outdated.       Very sorry to hear the incorrect information has been displayed for your organization. We try to fix these problems as soon as we become aware of them.

      I will use this instance as an example to clue everybody in on how these types of issues are processed here at MC!

      In this post, you provided a link to the listing in question - Good! This is exactly what I need in order to reference what you are talking about. After I followed the link, I saw that the listing has not yet been claimed.

      In the event of an unclaimed listing, we cannot change any information on the listing. There are only two options:

      1) You can claim the listing for your business/group and have ownership rights to making all information changes on the listing. (This is ideal for everybody, your information is corrected and we get to retain the listing for a more complete database)

      2) You can submit a request for the listing to be take down here:

      If you request to have the listing taken down, it's gone. You will need to create a new listing, if you so desire, for the information you want to be made available to public.

      We hope that you will decide to claim listings when you find them with incorrect information about a business/group you have membership in so that we can continue to build MC into a phenomenal system for finding local businesses!

      It is absolutely imperative that when you contact our support desk, you have the correct email address for the listing you are referencing. If you used a different email address to claim a business listing, you will need to find the listing and send our support team the URL so we can find the email attached to it!

      Often times we see customers with login problems stemming from the wrong email address - a listing owner believes one email to be connected with the listing when it is in fact another email address that was used.

      In this case, if you can provide the URL to the listing in question, we can look up the email address registered with the listing and then give you the appropriate information.

      We are very sorry for the difficulty you have been experiencing, and we will get this problem fixed as soon as possible. Thank you for bringing up a very common issue that merchants encounter when managing their account!

  • I am an employee with the Alabama Department of Public Health. One of our health departments somehow has a listing on merchant circle. The problem is that there is a link that allows patients to "book appoitment". This was not authorized by the Department nor is the Department receiving any of this information.       In this case, it might be best to have the listing removed completely.

      The other option is to remove the "Book Appointment" feature from the MC listing, but this might not be ideal if the owner of the page is in question.

      We've had a number of users experience this issue lately and are currently looking into what may be going on.

      Sometimes a picture file may be too large to be accommodated by our site, or there could be a browser issue that is causing problems with the upload.

      For now, the best course of action might be to try and re-size the picture file, or try uploading the picture under different file categories. If this doesn't work, you can report a bug to our engineering team here:

    • Hi and thank you for replying to my question. I need to delete all of the previous status updats that contain links. From your answer I should see a link that says clear. I don't see it. I did see a clear link and after I used it I don't see it anymore to delete the rest of the status's. Can you delete them for me or show me how to delete the rest?

      I have spoken with our development team and it seems like we currently do not offer a way to delete archived statuses. This is something we will get to work on!

      Your past statuses are only visible to yourself via the dashboard, and your connections. The public-facing listing contains only one status at a time.

      I'm sorry to hear that you've been experiencing difficulty with our LeadStore feature. This part of MerchantCircle is something we take great pride in, and when we hear about issues with its performance, we want to find a solution - FAST!

      Please make sure that the settings for your lead delivery and notification are set properly.

      There are two routes by which we transmit lead information to a merchant:

      1) Notifications

      2) Lead delivery

      Both of these can be controlled by accessing your LeadStore account through your dashboard. Under "Notification and Delivery" there should be an option to change the settings by which you receive information about your matched leads.

      Be sure to select the appropriate options for both notification and delivery of leads. You may choose to be notified by email, SMS, or both!

    For several days I have yot to be able to get my premium listing active. It is showing as cancelled and I have sent 3+ emails to have it corrected. I am paying for a service that I am not getting. Your organization (Merchant Circle) needs a customer service department. Customers need assistiance and I am one of them.

      I am sorry to hear that this has happened. We see this from time to time on our site where a review is posted that is not good for a business and the listing owner wants it to be taken down!

      Please note that we generally do not remove reviews from a listing unless the review is in direct violation of our terms of service available here: http://merchantcircle.desk.com/custom...

      The best course of action would be for you to email our support desk at toplevelsupport@merchantcircle.com with some information regarding the review in question.

      When you email us, please include a link (URL) to the listing on which the review is posted, the title of the review in question, and the date on which the review was posted. This enable us to locate the content very easily for review and prevents us from making a mistake.

      If the content of the review is inappropriate and in violation of our TOS, we will be happy to have it removed for you ASAP.

    Why haven't I received a reply from "toplevelsupport@merchantcircle.com?" I have sent two emails (10/17 & 10/21) regarding SEM support and have not received a reply. I am close to cancelling the upgraded service and our MS account all together.

    My e-mails are requesting clarification of previous replies and I feel that my questions are not being specifically addressed, but are just receiving canned answers without looking into our specific account.

    I receive notices from MC to the email address for my business. However, when I attempt to login, the password is not recognized. THEN when attempting to reset the password, system says that my email address is not recognized. Huh? Then how am I receiving the email notices to that address?

    For test purposes you might want to know that i received an email dated 22 October 2012 to eagleturtle@eaglecliff.net and it mentions Eagleturtle Creative:

      When your personal information is listed on MerchantCircle we are more than happy to remove the content immediately. These errors occur when we receive information from partner sites that is outdated or incorrect and needs to be edited.

      You can submit the URL (link) that needs to be removed here:

      Once the information is processed, we will remove the content without delay and within 24 hours you should see that the link to the listing is inactive.

      These listings are 100% deleted, but may still pop up in Google search results for up to a few weeks after we have removed the content since the information is cached. Please note that we have no control over this process and that once the information has been taken down on our end, your information is, for all intents and purposes, gone.

      Please note that I have already removed this particular listing, but if there are future occurrences, please follow the established protocol I have referenced in this response and in the posted link.

  • I am trying to create more listings for several businesses that I have. When trying to sign up, I get the message about it having to "verify" me as the owner. I do not have a problem with this, but it says something about a fee. It does not mention the fee or the procedure on how this happens, but tells me that my account will be deleted if I don't agree to it. So my question is basically what is that procedure, what is the fee and can the fee be deducted from my PayPal account.

    I could not sign up for an additional account without putting in my phone number so it basically stopped me from "Finishing", because it did not explain any details of the verification process or the fee for this. If I would have went ahead, I am sure there would have been the info for that. but I should be allowed to agree to the fee and the process before committing to it. If I did click Finish, then I did not want to do it once I found out the details, then the account I already have would have been subjected to being deleted.

    • Hi Gloria,

      Currently we do not allow for one email address to be connected with multiple listings. This is something we are working on improving in the future, but for now you will need to have separate email addresses for each listing that you would like to maintain.

      There is no fee for registering with our site, we offer premium services as an optional enhancement for your business listing, but I can assure you that there is no "verification fee." We verify merchants with an email that is sent to the address that you register when signing up for MerchantCircle, but there is not cost connected with this process.

      I am sorry for the confusion that you have experienced while trying to claim listings. Our servers have an annoying problem about only allowing on email address to sign up for a listing per 1/2 hour. If you are trying to set up multiple listings with different email addresses, you will need to space out the time frame in which you do this.

      Don't worry we see this all the time and are more than happy to help to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.

      You will need to contact toplevelsupport@merchantcircle.com with the following information in order for our team to take the appropriate action:

      1) URL (link) to the listing on which the content appears

      2) The title of the review in question as well as the date on which the review was posted

      3) A clear description of why you believe the review should be removed.

      We prefer to have merchants post rebuttals to reviews that have been posted in order for both sides to be able to voice their perspectives. We will, however, remove content that is found to be explicitly vulgar, slanderous, or false.

    Was working earlier today, but for sure last night. Did I over use it or something, it said "No more news status messages available." is that a normal thing? It looks like all my updates were removed from yesterday.

    PLUS you need to stop the "return" button from doing the update! I use it on Google Plus, Twitter, Facebook, and none of them make it 'update' - let me click the button, and nothing else. It is very frustrating... End up doing the update two or three times, because I want to separate the link I am referring too - from other text so it doesn't make it 'unlinkable'....

      This is not a problem and we see this all the time. When you no longer have access to the email that you have been using to log in to MC you can still get into your listing if you have the correct password. The problem arises when you don't have access to the email address and your password is lost or forgotten.

      In such a case, you can email toplevelsupport@merchantcircle.com with the URL for the listing that you need to access and our team can use administrative action to rest your password. From here, you will be able to log into your account and change the email address that you will be using.

      I'm very sorry to hear that you have had some difficulty with cancelling your subscription. There are two ways that this can be handled:

      1) You can cancel your services through your dashboard. You can do this using the following steps:

      - Log in to your merchant account and click on "Account Settings"
      - From this menu, choose "Billing" and then "Manage Services"
      - From here you will be able to cancel your service.

      2) You can contact our support team at toplevelsupport@merchantcircle.com with your login email address or listing URL and we can go ahead and cancel your services through our administrative access.

      Please understand that we are very sorry if your case was neglected by our support staff. We certainly do not want to bill you for any services which you do not desire. If you would like to email the support desk, I will have a team member take a look at the correspondence we have recorded to see where we may have gone wrong.

      You need to make sure that you scroll all the way down on the submission form. The whole form might not be visible in your browser, but when you scroll down it will load the remainder of the page.

      I have tested this across all browsers. If you continue to experience the issue, try clearing your browser's history/cookies to remove any cache which may be contributing to the problem.

      This is something that gets brought up with regularity for our support team. If you have a business listing with a review that you deem to be inappropriate you can submit the following information to toplevelsupport@merchantcircle.com

      1) URL to your business listing
      2) The TITLE and DATE of the review in question
      3) A clear description of what you believe to be going on

      Please understand that as a general rule, we do not remove reviews that are simply negative or critical of a business. In these cases, we urge the owner of the business/listing to submit a rebuttal to the review that has been posted to clearly explain the situation or offer further insight as to what may be happening.
