Unable to invite other MC Members

Today when I logged into MC, instead of opening my dashboard, I was shown a promotional screen for MC. It seems that this is now the norm.

The first one that was shown to me was about upgrading. I took a look at the benefits of upgrading, and it appears to me that the $4.95 package is what I enjoy as the free program.

So I'm now trying to perform my morning ritual of inviting other MC members, but now I am not allowed to do so. It appears that the link is still there (my pointer turns into a hand), but nothing happens when I click it.

Is this feature being taken away, or is it a glitch for today?

This is May 12. I too, can not invite other MC members today. My arrow (pointer) turns into a hand, and nothing happens. It's just dead. Since I'm only allowed to invite a limited number/day, it appears I may lose out on today's quota. I'd like to have a way to actually contact someone who will respond with an answer. There's also a partial white bar across the "Connect to others now" elipse. Is that what's blocking it?

5-13-2012 6am Having the same problem.

The following lines do not have functioniing LINKS:
* Personalize Your Invitation
* Invite other MerchantCircle members
* Invite local merchants from your area

On mouseover these 3 links display a cursor hand, but do not display a URL at the window bottom. Emailed MerchantCircle, but no response. Looks like these particular LINKS are temporarily deactivated, as though they were making program changes.

Everyone who has these problems should be including their operating system and browser info. I have all these problems using the newest Firefox on Windows XP.

I am using Internet Explorer 9 on Windows 7.

I have both Internet Explorer and Google Chrome. Results are exactly the same on both.
