Also the chart type changes when I switch dashboards. I have a chart type set as a bar chart, when I log in, it changes to a line chart. Why? This does not make sense.

PJ,

We took a long look and we are unable to reproduce the problems on our end. When you change the graph type are you making sure to click "Save Graph"?

Devin, I'm still having the same problem.

I have a chart of type line

I click edit, and set the type to bar and click save. The data loads and the graph refreshes as one of type bar.

I then click refresh and the graph type changes back to type line.

I have replicated this error on 2 computers on 2 networks. One on a mac, running Chrome. One on a PC running Chrome and IE.

Thanks.

PJ,

Thanks for testing further. It sounds like the changes you make aren't being saved properly to our backend, which is odd, because its working for every test we've done on our end. I'm assuming you aren't using a "read only" user account. Is there anything unusual about the graph (it has no data? other errors?)?

Are you familiar with Chrome's Developer Tools and Javascript Console? Can you try the following:

1) Open the Javascript Console (View->Developer->Javascript Console - this should open a "Developer Tools" window)
2) Try changing your graph to a bar chart and click "Save Graph"
3) Check if there are any errors in the Javascript Console (the text area with the '>' at the bottom of the page)
4) Click on the "Network" tab on the top of the "Developer tools" window
5) At the bottom of the list there should be an 'update_graph.php' network call. Can you tell me what it says under the "Preview" or "Response" sections?

Feel free to email the results to support@metricly.com if you prefer..
