Microsoft 800 # they gave is busy wiith a full voice inbox 1 week later. Still can't play XBLive because M-soft won't let me pay them $15!
Per http://tinyurl.com/3r9awg, if you need help with an Xbox 360 in the US, call 1-800-4MY-XBOX for customer support, or dial 425-635-7180. I just got through to a live person in a few minutes. (See http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/con... for more details.) You can also get support via email for XBLive at https://help.xbox.com/default.aspx?pr...
I did all that last weekend, and they told me they can't unfreeze the account until I resolve the $15 with someone at 1-800-809-0923, which I've been trying all week. It always goes straight to recording, tells me to call back or leave a message, and then won't allow me to leave a message because the voicemail inbox is full.
In case you need it, you can also get support via email for XBLive at https://help.xbox.com/default.aspx?productkey=xbox360live&mkt=en-us or on Twitter at https://twitter.com/XboxSupport
The Microsoft 800 number typically will not let you speak to a live person because there is no option to speak to a live person. The way I got around that was to keep shouting NO, NO, NO at the recording, over and over again. At first, this didn't seem to be working. I kept at it until finally a live person came on line.
Frustrating. I called this morning, and it took me ten minutes of listening to the computer's inane babbling voice before I finally got someone. Then it was some dude named Carlos who I could hardly understand. I'm not racist, but...can we at least get tech support who have actually played the games on Xbox and know what the hell is going on with it? It makes no sense to have some dude in India telling me how to fix my Xbox; all he has is a list of basic troubleshooting. This is why I just get my hacker friends to help me out with any settings on my Xbox or any problems: it's faster and clearer.
