I copy my PST file back and forth to my home installation (also OUTLOOK 2003)
so that I always have my latest PST available. In this way I do not lose
any mail or other data.
As of yesterday I created an Exchange OST cache file by selecting the appropriate preference settings on the Exchange account. I have now copied my PST and OST files to my home installation (where I am working today).
1. Is all of my data (especially emails) held in the PST or is it split between the PST and OST?
2. What happens if I delete the OST file? Will I loose data?
3. If I create or download new emails or data, will this be saved into my PST file as usual and then transfer to my office location when I copy the file back when I am next in my office?
