Vista partition decided it won't load anymore...not even safe mode.

I dual boot ubuntu and vista. I use Ubuntu all the time and then Vista when I have to make a powerpoint or document compatible with the university computers. Since vista takes a bajillion gigs I left that partition big and kept the Ubuntu partition at 13gbs and stored all my media and documents on that partition which I set to automount in Ubuntu. LIFE WAS GOOD. I was excited every time I turned my laptop on.

Now, the Vista partition won't mount at all in Ubuntu and Vista will half boot in EVERY MODE INCLUDING SAFE MODE. Then I either get the blue screen or it simply restarts the computer and returns to the boot OS screen. So I now have a brand new thinkpad with Ubuntu, a T8100 processor and 13 GIGABYTES of internal hard drive space.

Help.....I'm savvy, but I'm not slick

Try booting to the Vista setup DVD, it'll load setup and there'll be an option to "Repair your computer". Go ahead and do that. You can find more info here:
