An easier way to reserve resoures.

If I have multiple of a certain resource, say 100 chairs. As an administrator I would input that under setup/resources. Then when a user went in to reserve it, but they only needed 20 chairs, they would type that into their reservation, then when the next user came along that had a class at the same time would see that only 80 chairs were available, and they would type in how many they needed and so on. This would be especially helpful for the churches that have multiples or many different resources (round tables, banquet tables, folding chairs, cushioned chairs, linens, etc) The process of putting them into groups as it is now is not user friendly.

This is great feedback...thank you so much.

Are you using to the RESOURCES to track "inventory" or to just know what needs set up? If it is the later, you might consider not putting chairs and tables in the RESOURCES but rather add questions in a FORM that would ask how many of each they need.

Let us know if you want to explore this further.

Thanks again.

Having the user fill out a form does not allow for tracking what's available. When a user has an event/meeting and they need specific resources (tables, chairs, etc) We only have a limited number of everything, so it would be helpful to be able to track what's available and what's being used.

Thanks

Kimberly: If you have a limited number, then you can list them all in Resources as a way of providing an "Inventory Control"

You could have a major heading called "TABLES"

The add other resources under it like:

8' Round table 1
8' Round Table 2
Etc.

If you need help with this, please contact amy at amy@coolsolutionsgroup.com

Thanks
