Did Mixmeister go under?

looking at all these comments. They're like 3 plus years old it looks like mixmeister isn't actively involved in their product anymore. Did it go under? If I pay$400 is there still support?

I think Mixmeister was taken over by Numark and when they did things got very slow in answering problems. They eliminated Mixmeister plus video and created the 7.7 version which is the same without the plus video and along with it they pushed on us the ilok program which was a great mistake because they wanted to protect the program from being copied and used illegally.

They charged an extra $21.00 for those who had already paid $399.00 of its original price for Mixmeister plus video. There are many problems with 7.7 and one of them is that one's old mixes and the recent ones, go into search mode for each individual the track that has been already mixed and rendered with a titled, even when they are right there in the library.

This is not good when one has a paying gig and timely gig because one can not open the mix instantly and the program has to go through finding each track in one's music folders. One of the other problems is the ilok program which locks one out of any and all your private mixes when one disconnects one's computer from the net or for when one disconnects is traveling to one's gig destination or for just repairs. The other is if you travel and you have no wireless internet reception or cable your shot out of luck, cause ilok will lock you out of your mixes and your gig is screwed.

What used to be an easy set up has become a burden on the DJs to use. I have heard and I am keeping every complaint from DJ's who in the past or recently have purchased Mixmeisiter. There are so many people complaining and very little responses from the Mixmeister technical staff if they have one at all lately.

I have personally used Mixmeister for about fifteen years and have dedicated tens of thousands of hours mixing and mixing and mixing until I have perfected how to perfectly harmonize my transitions. However, mixmeister has no interest in evaluating how well the customer DJ have done in whatever talent they have developed with their program to further promote. in that these DJ's or just home users have spent a major part of their lives using the program. They just don't care.
