Change in reply by Johnthedj to A lot of BS and the new versions of MM have come a long way. Your problem is again not what this thread was even about. If you had the new version 7.7 there are tons of different features and fixs. W10 compatibly, the plug-ins have been replaced and the sound is ten times better. Serato doesn’t support hardly anything other than mp3. I’ve complained to them about that for years. Alberton is fun to play with but The Roland controllers has similar features. I was a beta tester for every software you could dream up. I also am in IT and had my own app business I sold 3 years ago. I have the source code to a all three versions of MM. The database MixMeister is depending on is what prevents having a separate program. Denon has that kind of scheme for its controllers. As far as your pretending to be a Super DJ. I’ve been here for 30 plus years. Never heard of you. I’ve owned a night club as well, and no performer is going to play anything they haven’t listened too. That’s the first sign your full of bull. All the software you named requires prep. I suggest you contact support and move to a new version of MM. If you contact Simon Bangs he can help you. In Music owns MixMeister and most of the DJ software out as well as DenonDJ, Numark, and others. You should buy an iLok to store your licenses. You can’t run the new MM with the old one on the same computer. The old plugins mess up the new one. MixMeisters tech is probably going to be combined into the other software InMusic bought parts of it already has. They want to sell you expensive hardware to use the software. MixMeister as it is now doesn’t need hardware. So they will more than likely use the programs core functionality to improve their Hardware. I wish they would talk AAron Higgs into coming back and develop MM to the next level. Simon is pulled into so many directions and can only do so much..

Change in reply by Johnthedj to If the file is corrupt it will freeze on some files. You have to find that file and convert it or find a better substitute. Before you perform you should let all files plot. I DJ 4 nights a week. If you put things in the performance part and mm gets stuck they won’t plot in time. You have to turn off mm and restart it. What’s in the performance part will plot first but one they do then mm gets stuck again on the corrupt file. If everything stops plotting you have to find the defective file. After you remove or move files you should do a catalog clean up after you add the files back in the catalog.
