Inserting Silence at Beginning of Track?

How do you insert silence at the beginning of a track? (Sorry if this is obvious. I am very new to sound editing and to this program.)

  • Just move the start of your 1st track to the right at, let's say, 2 seconds.
    That's all there's to it :)

All these actions are in the help section of the Mixmeister program. However the action you requested is quite simple. Place the blue volume dot or marker on top of the timeline of the track where you want to silence to end and the track to begin playing. Place another blue volume dot or marker directly on the bottom of the same timeline of the track. This will create a blue line on the left hand bottom of the beginning of the track you want to silence. Learning how to use the volume markers and their blue lines is very important in manipulating a track to suit your creativity within it. You can actually see this being done in the intro demo, when you open one of your mixes.
