Making MixMeister a competitor AGAIN to the others Apps....
Has anyone gotten v7.7 to work without crashing when importing a folder selection of music? Is there anyone using a midi controller successfully with v7.7? if yes, what midi controller are you using.. ?

Hi Deej Art,
7.7 will crash, on any version of Windows anyway, if you attempt to import a folder. Another thread is being used to track information about the issue, so please add your experience to the other thread to give more weight to the problem. The workaround is to use the single file import and select all of the files in a given directory at one time. Alternatively, you can add the folders to the library list (Tools > Options > Library) and check the auto update box. MM "should" import the items on a relaunch. Be sure to remove the directories from the list if this is a one-time requirement.
The good news is that, based upon a recent inquiry I received from tech support, this issue may finally be floating to the top. I hope our chatter in this forum is helping.
Someone else will need to chime in on the Midi controller question.- view 1 more comment

I believe DJ Henri is controlling Intro/Outro using a Numark Omni/Stealth Controller with Fusion 7.7, so he might be able to give you more info. He started another thread about a second USB.

Fusion Live has a Omni/Stealth template in Options/Midi. I have used it at live gigs several times, and will upload a further revised Mapping List shortly.

So it's nearly 2 weeks and I haven't received a follow-up response from the tech I was emailing.... Since then, yesterday, I submitted another plea for assistance regarding the issues I am experiencing.
With me being a month and a half out from a major community performance I am finding myself leaning towards learning another application (serato) software, and controller costed maybe $400...
Mixmeister people.... I purchased the fusion and mm controller, then purchase the fusion live for a robust freedom to perform, and then I purchased the mmf+v to mix video... that was 3 to 4 years ago... and surely my purchasing of the products gives way to the pleasure, the own-ness of the product, and did I say... I am mixmeister DJ... or I am a DJ that enjoys my sets using mixmeister.
Over the past year, I've have experience some re-recoverable hiccups... but with OS changing and the architecture of the i/o structures, and mere processor warping into the next millennium... the band-aid fix of rolling back to known working instance of mixmeister is going to become problematic and technology...the hardware continues to change, along with the data used...
Where are the techie geekie people... where are the data junkies to fix the issues and get mixmeister engaged as a competitor to tackor, serator, and the other dj apps. Come on guys (mixmeister)... make it fun again.... -
