MM support down?

Hi

Anyone else have had issues geting help from MM support last two weeks or am i the only one they ignore? :o

  • For the longest, I 've had to fix my own problems with Mixmiester. Its a shame how these people ihave gnored many of their customers. I purchased mine in 2008 when it was mixmiester plus video and paid close to $400.00 and when they eliminated the video portion and made it 7.7 version they made me pay some extra bucks to make it work. Even today when I encounter problems and fill out their complaint form, several weeks go by before they get back to me telling me they can not find me as a customer. That's because they look up a customer by their email addresses and do you know how many times since 2008 my email address has changed? I have many mixes that I have worked and store since 2008, and they have the gaul after sending them proof of purchase which I still have to tell me they can not help me. They are still selling the program to novice users who I also have read complaints of their lack of help.

    I feel the same about MM poor support, they have ignored me times before as well.

    Its really a shame they don't give us customers more support...
    Especially since we pay hundreds of dollars for their products.

    Earlier today i searched around for MM substitute and even sent a email to one company asking. Think i have had it with MM this time and their terrible support...

    You know I love the program with all its flaws and there are many, but when Mixmeister sold it to inmusic or whatever other company is taking care of it now, it has gone down hill. This is not only happening with Mixmeister, but also with Microsoft windows operating system, where their updates are causing personal computer problems and when you call them to fix what they cause they refer you to their pay technical support where you have to agreed to pay for their services for the problems that they cause. Does this make any sense? Making sense out of anything these days have nothing to do with it, since Trump took office. People follow his example of cheating you out of your money and no one is saying anything about it. I guess everyone is guilty except me. I don't follow such things.

    I too like MM, its just enough for me as a instructor- no need for the dj stuff that most programs support these days.

    In my world i just don't get how you can cheat anybody, even less when you are a company selling products that are suposed to work - and if not you help solving the issue at hands. Guess MM don't follow that line anymore :(

    Guess i will keep my fingers crossed for some life reaction from MM but till i do, i have had it with this program, time for something new WITH SUPPORT! :)

  • I think that these software companies are being sabotage from the inside by their employees ignoring their customer complaints. I smell something rotten In Denmark and I don't think its the cheese. I had a Microsoft window 10 problem that put out my computer for six days, from their automatic updates. Before that I had problem with a driver update program software I purchased online, which took out all my sound device software drivers from my computer. Here is the kicker. I complain about what their program did and they got me to give them permission to do a remote and let them into my computer. They fixed the problem, but they caused another problem, while they were in remote and after they left I had to call them back and they deny they cause the problem. They now wanted me to pay for their technical support to fix the problem they cause just like Microsoft, as this seems to be a growing trend within these software companies, maybe causing problems for the sake of job security. Who can one trust these days?

  • Well, apparently we can't trust MM and their so called "support" since it is out of service :p

    Yeah, you are on to something that has been going on for 10 years more or less. It is more profit for software companies selling new products than updating and/or giving support for older versions. Windows is a fine example how more or less are forcing old licens users to update to newer versions.

    Personally i am somewhere in between these actions. Yes internet and the computer age moves forward faster and faster so new programs and platforms are needed, sure. Both as the evolution goes on and as well for protection against virus and stuff like that.
    On the other hand, and particularly in MM case - i ask them for support with their latest edition, version 7 or what it is called and they totally ignore me. If i was asking for help regarding version 3 fine; i had to find a sub-forum somewhere but that would be fine :)

    This however, is not fine one bit. Its pure disgrace if you ask me and i hope that more people are reading this so they can know how bad MM handels their own product and its so called "support".
