How do you play a .caf file on your computer?

I purchased Moe's Notes on my Iphone, but cannot play the audio on my computer. It is a .caf file and my computer doesn't recognize it. It is the same when I e-mail a Moe's Notes audio file to another person - they can't play it either. What do I do to solve this issue?

Two options:

1) Any computer with Quicktime should play .CAF files. So if you're on Windows, install Quicktime. Any Macintosh will play a .CAF file as is.

2) Change the default audio file format in Moe's Notes' Settings Screen to WAV. Every operating system can play a WAV file, not least because it is not compressed at all. Be aware that WAV files are 4x as large as CAF files of the same length. Also, choosing it won't retroactively change your existing notes' audio to WAV.

In the future, there may be an option to create WAV versions of all audio files when emailing...

I beg to differ: You do NOT need to CONVERT a CAF file to any other format to play it. You simply need to have a computer with iTunes or QuickTime installed. Obviously all Macintoshes have these apps. Most Windows machines belonging to people with iPhones do too.
