Having this same issue.

Using Mouse Without Borders to share between a desktop with dual-monitors and a laptop. Setup proceeded fine, but I can only share one direction and only using the mouse trackpad.

I have tried initiating setup from both computers (selecting "No" on each during setup) but the laptop trackpad is always the "host". In other words if I drag the physical mouse from desktop to laptop I meet a wall. If I use the laptop trackpad I have freedom of movement between both computers.

Don't want the keyboard/mouse to be plugged in to the laptop as the laptop needs to be disconnected from time to time.

I've got the same issue as described by thebundok. Have used MWB for 2 years in the same configuration without issue. Suddenly the connection only works one way. Trackpad on laptop will allow mouse to move onto Workstation desktop, but USB mouse connected to workstation won't cross over to laptop desktop.

Hi Sam,

I found out that the issue was because my mouse and keyboard were connected via the pass-through USB on the monitor which was connected to the desktop. Once I connected M&KB directly to the tower everything worked fine. Not sure why.

Additionally, I found some reported that it depended on which monitor was set as the "main" monitor. My colleague had his 4k secondary monitor set as the main and it gave him issues while I had the HP ZR30W set as main (we have the same monitors) and it worked fine once he switched to the ZR30W.

Hope that helps!
