One computer on domain, the other not. Is MWB possible?

I use my personal laptop sometimes at work, because of the restriction that I have with installed programs on my work computer. My work computer is on the work domain, the laptop is on the public (secured) wireless network. Is it possible that MWB works in this kind of setup? I haven't been able to make it work, but I'm not so "switched on" with networking...

I had a similar situation.  I have two company laptops, one I use on the local network and one I have to VPN into a private network.  I have the laptop I use for VPN set up on the Lenovo Thinkpad Port replicator which attaches via USB.  The second laptop is connected to the network via wireless, this left the Ethernet jacks open.  So I connected the two laptops via CAT5 PC to PC.  Filled in the IP mappings as <PCNAME> <IP ADDRESS> on both PC's.  That is about all I had to do...  Each laptop has one external monitor I am able to use the mouse across all screens even when one is attached to a different network.

Laptop2 (with lid open) -> External Monitor (laptop2) -> External Monitor (Laptop1) -> Laptop1 (with lid open keyboard and mouse attached to port replicator).

Hope this helps!
