Reduce the number of packets being sent for high report rate / DPI mouse in Wi-Fi environment

My mouse is a Logitech G502, support a maximum of 1000 reports / second, I use it on my PC and remote controlling Surface Pro 3 via Wi-Fi.

Mouse without Borders use small packets for communication (86 bytes as seen by Wireshark), and the number of packets depend on the mouse's report rate, if I set the report rate to 1000, the number of packets sent via Wi-Fi can sometimes congest the wireless AP and the cursor will become unresponsive (worst case the MWB connection will lost because of error)

I know you recommend us to use Mouse without Borders over Ethernet, but I don't have a Ethernet adapter for the SP3 :(

Is it possible to reduce the number of packets being sent by Mouse without Borders? say, limiting to 100 packets / second will help a lot.
