selective selection thing?

I was selecting icons on the desktop (by making that selection rectangle) when suddenly the rectangle changed to a white square and a balloon tip from the MWB icon on the systray appeared, saying something like "Selective selection mode enabled..." but it disappeared before I could read (and remember) it all.

Does anyone know what this is?

Does MWB have a manual? I could not find it.

Regards,
David

That would be the Selective screen capture feature, the default hotkey is Ctrl+Alt+S. I wonder if those keys were pressed while you hold the mouse down:)

You can update the hotkey combination or disable the feature (many users use it daily though):

What does the Selective screen capture feature do?

It captures a rectangle area of the screen and puts in the clipboard:
  • Press Ctrl+Shift+S to start.
  • Hold left mouse down and move the mouse to draw a rectangle.
  • Release the mouse, now you can paste the captured image to anywhere like a Word Document or Paint.
