Firefox 4: No more help from the search bar?

One of my favorite features of Firefox 3 is no longer working for me in my up to date Minefield in Ubuntu*:

When typing a mathematical problem, such as 2+2, into the search bar, with Google as the search engine, a small box would pull down from the search bar and give you the answer (= 4).

Similarly when you had Wikipedia as the search engine a box would pull down from the search bar as you typed to provide you with suggestions as to what you meant to search for.

This does no longer happen for me. I very much hope that this will be fixed (if it's a bug) or reintroduced (if it's been removed), or at least be available as an extension, before Firefox 4 final arrives.

It would be a shame if this very useful and user friendly functionality where to disappear. On the contrary I believe it should be extended to let more search engines utilize it (suggestions from other search engines than Wikipedia, getting answers to other things than math problems, like "10 USD in EUR", etc.)

Thank you!

Minefield 4.0b10pre (2011-01-20) on Ubuntu 10.10 32 bit.

PS: I didn't use the built in feedback system because as a user of the nightly builds I was just told to install the latest beta.
