Twitter "401 Unauthorized"

  • Problem
  • Updated 5 years ago
I installed Ubiquity last night and used the "twitter" command. The display popped up asking me to sign in, so I did. Since then I keep getting a "401 Unauthorized" message every time I try to update.

I'm properly logged in via Ubiquity, but I've noticed that Ubiquity doesn't appear under my authorized apps in my Twitter settings page.

Is there anyway to completely revoke access from Twitter so I can try reauthorizing Ubiquity.

I think this might fix my problem.

P.S. I've tried the .json url fix, but the url doesn't seem to work (as one other user has stated in a previous thread).

Running Ubiquity 0.6 on Firefox 3.6.17 on Win XP

Try [purge]ing "Mozilla Social Networking Commands" on about:ubiquity?cmdlist, then resubscribe from
resource://ubiquity/standard-feeds/social.html .

Thanks! That fixed it! I tried unsubscribing once before, but I didn't think to purge anything!
