ATT.net new mail server setting not working with Thunderbird

AT&T recent made some changes in their server settings and now my Thunderbird can't send emails to anyone. I still seem to be getting messages, but anything I send out never gets there and I get delivery error messages in return. But my account works fine when I use the att.yahoo email web client.

Does Mozilla have a fix for this problem, otherwise I can't use the program any more and I'll have to use outlook email or something else.

Oh, and after like an hour on the phone with att the high level support says it's not within their "scope of support"... waiting for a call back from supervisor now.
