I am unable to open PDF files that have been downloade through Thunderbird. I get the normal prompt asking what application I want to open with and I get NO error messages from Thunderbird. The file seems to be properly passed off to Adobe (I just installed the latest version to see if that helped) but when the PDF attempts to open, I get a message saying the file is damaged and cannot be opened. I tried saving the file (rather than opening it) and got the same result. On at least one of my email accounts, when I log directly in to the webmail, I am able to save the same files (more than one) and open them just fine.
I searched for PDF here and got no hits. Perhaps this is a local problem for me....or maybe no one has reported this issue before. I'm still trying to figure it out though.
