I’m frustrated

Can't send or receive email from Cogeco.ca

I am going to setup Win 7 and since it doesn't have an email program, I decided to try Thunderbird since I love Firefox. I had rather have a root canal than use anything "Windows Live".

I can't send or get mail. Am using Cogeco and they don't support TB. When I used the auto config, it was unsecure and turned orange.

Manually I set up:

pop3.cogeco.ca Port 110 SSL With Normal Password(Not sure about this setting)
smpt.cogeco.ca Port 25 SSL With Normal Password(Not sure about this setting)

OS WinXP SP3
AMD Anthlon II X3 445
778 mhz 4G Ram

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Edit: I forgot to say I even used the default port TB suggested 995 and 465. And I checked my Zone Alarm..ALL settings are green
