Hi, I'm wanting to disable the password feature. I'm using Thunderbird Version 15.0.1
If I go in to the password section & leave the new password fields blank will that do it? I fought this thing quite a while when I recently switched to Comcast.
It wasn't asking me for a password when I was with Cinergymetro.net.
Any help highly appreciated.

CHAMP0You can't disable passwords - they're required to send or receive email.
If you remove the passwords from Tools > Options > Security > Passwords, it will ask you to input your password every time you attempt to get email or try to send.
If you don't want it to ask for your password every time, when it prompts you to enter the password, tick the box to have Thunderbird 'remember' it...
