Since my computer automatically downloaded the 17.0 version of Thunderbird, I have not been able to open my e-mail. I get the message "Thunderbird not responding" and cannot get into log on. Is there some setting I can change or some patch that will let me get into my e-mail. Because it downloads everything onto my hard drive, I cannot open files of statements, photographs or anything else that is in Thunderbird.
I really like Thunderbird and don't want to lose my info OR switch to a different e-mail software.
