I’m frustrated

Thunderbird is timing out and I get - unable to connect to server due to time out?

Thunderbird email was working fine a few days ago but yesterday and today I get server timeout errors when I try to log in. I am getting this on two separate PCs connected to the same home LAN. As I said the days, months previous to this Thunderbird has been work just fine but now sometime has changed in the Thunderbird server of an update on both of the PCs is affecting how I connect. I have important business email that I need to get to, please help.
