Not a Thunderbird problem. New: Try switching off HTML composition in Account Settings, Composition & Addressing first. Router, Antivirus, ISP or Mail provider problem Q:Transaction failed : Cannot send message due to possible abuse (Yahoo)

I can no longer send any email from Thunderbird. I can still send mail if I log into Yahoo webmail, though. I am also able to download all messages. Just cannot send.

I am getting the following error message: "An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Transaction failed : Cannot send message due to possible abuse; please visit http://postmaster.yahoo.com/abuse_smt... for more information. Please check the message and try again."

Using Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.17) Gecko/20110414 Thunderbird/3.1.10
Running on Windows 2007
Have Yahoo Mail Plus

I am not a spammer. Some days I do send up to 100 messages but they are all unique. Every now and again, I may send 15-20 of the same message to different people but this is rare.

Any ideas to correct this problem? Thanks very much,
Nita
