I’m frustrated

"Unable to connect. The connection was refused when attempting to contact live.mozillamessaging.com"

I am hoping you can provide me with the answer to accessing my email. I have not been able to access it since 9/2/11. It comes up with a message saying "Unable to connect. The connection was refused when attempting to contact live.mozillamessaging.com". It is a webmail account so I have been able to access it via my internet service provider. Therefore it is definitely a Thunderbird problem. What can I do?
