Cedar Fair Promotion

I entered my 20 codes and said I got the reward. I went to claim my reward and now the Cedar Fair tickets are out of stock? Already?? I know it was while supplies last but didn't this just start? Also, why would your website allow you to enter codes if the promotion is over because there is no tickets left? Shouldn't you take that down?

MyCokeRewards totally mishandled this promotion. They knew how many tickets were available. When they reached the limit they shouldn't have let people enter anymore codes. If it was sold out, they shouldn't have let us enter the codes. I didn't have any caps so I entered 12 pack codes, so I'm out 200 points.  Two days later my girlfriend entered codes on this promotion. I wonder how many hundreds (or thousands) of people got screwed on this promotion? How long did MyCokeRewards keep the promotion open after they didn't have any tickets?

They currently have separate promotions for each of the Cedar Rapids amusement parks. You can buy a ticket for 1000 points to whichever park you want to go to. So, MyCokeRewards still have tickets. They could use those tickets to fulfill their obligation to us that got screwed on this promotion.

I guess I was lucky last year that my girlfriend and I got tickets to Knotts Berry Farm. We had a good time.

MyCokeRewards keeps going down hill every year. It used to be a good program.  You could save up your points all year and they used to have good promotions in December. Then they put weekly limits on how many points you could enter. So instead of signing in once a month and entering codes, now you have to sign in every week. Last December they didn't have any good promotions - it was a big disappointment.  I drink a 12 pack of diet soda nearly every day and because of MyCokeRewards it used to be worth it to buy Coke. In past years, on several occasions I have rushed out to the grocery store to buy extra 12 packs just to get the codes for a special promotion.  Unfortunately, MyCokeRewards keeps cutting back every year and it has gotten to the point that its just not worth the trouble anymore.  Actually, I've been buying Pepsi lately since they usually cost considerably less.
