Coke driving away its loyal customers

i would like a legitimate reason (not some bogus professional answer that doesn't even remotely answer my question) for why you have lowered the point limit to 75. and not only that, the recent prizes have been absolute junk. i remember back when i first started MCR there was some really awesome high priced prizes, as well a sizable selection of coke brand products such as the coke watch, coke pop corn bowl set, coke apparel, and much more. in others posts that are also upset about these changes you have commented that after you have reached your point limit that you can continue to increase your status by completing challenges. but for people like myself who have already achieved gold status, the challenges have become relatively pointless. so like i said at the beginning i would greatly appreciate an honest and personal response. thank you for taking the time to read through my post and look forward to reading your genuine response.

Hello Jason, thank you for your feedback. As you might have read in a previous response, this limit has been updated to ensure the sustainability for our program. It allows us to continue to purchase rewards and sweepstakes that we can then offer to our members for free. The weekly point limit was initially instated to make the playing field fair to all members, including those who only enter codes from products they've purchased for their own consumption that week.

As stated in our response to your other forum question, participating in Challenges after reaching Gold Status can earn you Bonus Points, freebie rewards, free sweeps entries and access to exclusive rewards. I'm happy to pass along your dissatisfaction toward the current Catalog rewards to our team. Please note that new rewards will be added throughout 2015.

i consume more than 5 cases of coke product a month in my home. We ARE avid coke lovers since the 50's lowering the limit was an insult to the true loyal people. some consumers dont wish to play the game so the offer there codes to friends and families are u punishing them? i think if you want to donate u should be allowed to enter all you want..for prizes well ok maybe but it was 150 then 120 and now 75 that a huge difference in 2 years..not happy:9

p.s. what about all the coke donated to disneyworld in lieu of advertisment costs.. how many caps do you think go in the trash everyday when magic kingdom closes the doors witha fire marshall code of 108,000. and 74,000 is average day and thats 1 park.. they have 4 plus downtown disney and over 19 resorts and water parks ,golfing..hmmmmm..you allowed unfair.

i suppose i just don't quite understand how it "levels the playing field". as opposed to lowering the point limit, why not simply create more lower point rewards for the newbies, and more higher point rewards for the veterans? it seems that coke is relying to much on sweepstakes to which only a finite amount of my coke rewards users can obtain as opposed to more actual physical rewards that a majority of the community would be able to receive.

While lowering the point limit screws long time users of my Coke rewards, it makes it sort of sense for Coke itself because they don't want to have this division between that written a new users. Because of new users feel that they're going to be in a second-class compared to guys who have been doing this for the past eight or 10 years, then those users are less likely to show up to begin with. coke probably feels that they don't need to bend over for guys who been stockpiling caps and package tabs for the past few years, because they've already made money on those people. They're going after the guys who have not signed up yet. The point is to get as many new subscribers as possible and they're not going to do that if people have to worry about going up against guys got shoeboxes full of red green and gray caps.

I also am quite disappointed that the limit has been lowered to 75. Shame on Coke for punishing those who take the time to collect the codes.
