illegible codes

I am starting to get quite a collection of codes that do not work on the site. Some are so distorted that they cannot be read or the code is incomplete because it was not completely typed in the viewable area (like on the bottom of the Dasani water packages). Is there any way to get credit for these codes? Maybe somewhere they can be redeemed or exchanged for a valid working code? They obviously have not been previously redeemed.

Hi Cindy, our team will be happy to assist with your illegible codes. Just mail us the caps or cardboard cut-outs with the codes on them and be sure to include the email address associated with your My Coke Rewards account. You can get our address here: http://CokeURL.com/8pnf

Very cool! I will give it a try. Essentially I cannot use them so it's worth a go.

I agree, Dan, but rather than mailing them in, I tried calling them in.  I got a very nice agent who helped me to figure out as much of the code as possible and then she gave me credit for it.  It was very painless.  :)  I will definitely do this again.  In fact, I am saving illegible codes already.

Now that I have resolved the earlier issue about the unreadable codes, I find that I have a whole bunch (25+) codes that when I try to enter them, I get a message stating "Sorry!  This promotion has ended."  What is that supposed to mean?

Hi Cindy, Due to the popularity of our program, we’ve made the transition from 12-digit codes to 14-digit codes to ensure we have a steady supply of codes for you, our loyal members. We apologize for any inconvenience, but 12-digit codes are no longer accepted as of 8/1/2014.

That's interesting.  Thanks for the information.  Can you tell me why Coke continues to sell these sodas with invalid caps?  I buy the product in good faith that the product is not defective or out of date range, yet for this program, they are still selling products with invalid codes.  There are no notations on the cap stating this is to be transitioned out for different codes.  How can I tell when I purchase a six or eight pack with lids that I am purchasing products with valid codes?  Is there something on the product I should be looking for?

I have probably 50-60 codes that are all 14 digit codes and they are saying promotion is over.  I don't want to mail the caps because then they could say they never got them.  I don't know if someone wants to go through 50-60 codes on the phone with me but I'd rather do that.  Is there an email that I can send the codes?
