is my coke rewards going to do the march madness promotion? I love that one. Also, I'm not really a fan of the new site. I wonder who you are marketing to? Its not your loyal fan base.

I guess we can take that as a no.  If it were yes, it would be in the works already and they'd want us to know about it.  Another bad move, Coke.  The new website/program sucks, too.

The new site was an adjustment for me, but so is the empty nest in my home.  Thank you Coca-Cola for your commitment to such a longstanding program that truly offers very nice rewards for your customers.  I do not like change, but I was able to adapt, and I'm looking forward to the offers that will be made available this year.

I too enjoy Cokes new format they developed. It is a little difficult at first and going from 100 points a week to 75 was a little hurtful. But all in all there is more stuff on there and more things to do. I do however LOVE the NCAA bracket challenge they offered. Should have kept that. It made me buy more Coke Zero than I normally would have just for the codes..lol

Navigating the new site sucks. Bring back the old one! And making a lot of the rewards contigent on having a cell phone is worthless for us Luddites.

Sent three emails to Coke Zero and Coke to see if they would be doing the NCAA bracket challenge, and in threes weeks have not received one reply. Very poor customer relations. Love the bracket challenge and very disappointing they just don't care. I also dislike the new site and all the social media junk they except you to do. People don't want to keep reading Coke on Facebook and we should twitter? Who are they marketing too, 11-14 year olds?

Sounds like Chris Fish works for Coke too. Mr. Smith I would hate your job. Coke switches to a terrible new program and you have to answer to all the complaints. I have not seen one positive comment about the new program. In response to your reply about the bracket challenge, your ambiguous answer told me and everyone else who loved this challenge, nothing on why it is was eliminated. You do work for Coke don't you? The probable answer is Coke is losing market shares and they don't want to put the money into this challenge. I and 3 others at work are very disappointed. Getting the teams and following their progress was so exciting and the awards were a bonus. Even if they cut down on the awards and maybe give away more soda, it would be a much better solution than eliminating the challenge.

Hello Kurt, the only Coke employees who are authorized to respond to members through this page are marketed as Official Representatives. No other Coke employees will respond, however, all members are entitled to share their own opinions like you have.

I am sorry to hear you are disappointed with our program. Programs change often to fit business needs and the online environment. Thank you for your feedback. I will pass it along to the appropriate team.

What a load. Last year's contest was a disaster. I only received My final round victory prize a few weeks ago. Apparently no one saw a 7th cede (UConn) going all the way. It figures that once Coke had generated consumer excitement and anticipation they would change things up. Remember "New Coke". I'm sure your corporation spends millions on fresh faced marketing grads to come up with new ideas, but if I may, and this is for free, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The beta site is silly and convoluted. There are better ways to tap social media.

I wholeheartedly agree with Kyle H.  I've been a loyal MCR member for 8 years and have collected over 30,000 points. The beta program is terrible and I'm sure many others like myself are wondering what's the point of even collecting codes anymore. For example, now the max total is 75 points per week, no more rewards over 1700 points (except a $50 Nike gift card), and I totally missed out on all the Christmas stuff because I found out later it was on beta only. Those Christmas gift card deals were the best thing about MCR and why people save up all year. Why this social media garbage to unlock prizes? It seems that Coke would want to sell more product and have people collect more codes instead of reading tweets about how great it is. Nobody cares about what anybody says on social media and I'll bet the vast majority just find it an annoying waste of time.

The December giveaway was much easier for me this year.  The last two years it was first come-first served and it took me over an hour and a half to get my rewards simply because of the volume that the website was trying to manage.  This year, I could get 5 gift cards within about 20 minutes.  That's progress!

Hi Karl, Thank you for your feedback. At this time, social media is not a requirement to participate in our website. All members can enter codes and redeem points on Catalog rewards without utilizing social accounts. While participating in social Challenges will earn you status, simple acts such as completing your profile, watching videos, voting in polls and inviting friends will also move you along.

B Smith,
How idiotic do you think the consumers are? The new site is completely about social media, albeit a sledgehammer approach. As usual your company cannot get to your target demographic without alienating your existing, loyal customers.

I have to disagree, Mr. Smith.  Many of the prizes can only be unlocked by obtaining Silver and Gold status which can only be achieved by participation in social media.

I saw on the Coke Facebook page that the March Madness promo will be ran through Powerade and should start this week sometime.  Great news if I hadn't been collecting over a 1000 coke zero codes in the past year.

Coke is Coke but you couldn't use those to enter last year, could you. They use the promotion to highlight a specific product. A 7th cede won last year, they've just now finished giving away the $50 final round prizes. They are not going to take a chance on getting swamped again this year. BTW who ended up getting the trip to the final four? I had a final round winning entry, and I never got the memo.

Wow, they give away a lot of 15th and 16th cede entries. a few 7 and 8, and pratically no first and second. It's a way to limit the number of prizes they have to award. UConn threw a wrench in the works last year. So they change the product knowing people have been collecting coke zero all year, and avoid any unpleasant surprises.

Got a email today. Enter a Powerade cap. Tweet. You get one entry to win tickets to next year final four. Only one winner and I believe I read you can only enter twice. As it said on the page, "Isn't this exciting"? Not.

If this is their idea of a March Madness promotion, they should just cancel the rewards program in its entirety. Do they really think that offering double points on all caps for 3 whole days will make up for it?  Unbelievable.

Coke has lost its excitement.  Sure, they have a right to run their rewards program any way they want.  It is their rewards program.  I just don't think i  want to partcipate like I used to.   I can't even bring myself to buy their new milk product Fairlife.

I don't see how this could be boosting coke sales because you literally need to purchase no product at all. Just go to Bracketsweeps and get 2 virtual tickets a day for the bracket. If you started on day one and kept revisiting you will get all 64 teams. They're all different. No caps. It will wind up being a drawing on a lot of crappy prizes except the really hard one NOBODY has a shot at. I was looking for this ever since UConn (Which I had and everyone else did too.) took the whole thing. What did we all get for holding the winning cap: Absolutely Nothing! My thinking is they took a beating on those $50 Nike cards and made the odds in their favor even more. It's a good thing I'm a NCAA fan or I'm not sure If I'd watch it at all. Coke and Zero blew it this time. I wonder how may saved their caps thinking it was going to be like last year?
