MCR for Schools - Bring back the School Coordinator!!

How soon do you expect to have resolved the issue of schools being able to enter more than 75 points per week?  As school coordinator I would sometimes put in over 1,000 points per week.  Our parents are very faithful about donating caps, but not all of them are able to enter codes themselves.  We had counted on the MCR for School to help get some of the things our PE Department needs. In addition to the problem with entering codes, all our points have disappeared.  Is a check on the way?  Also, we can't claim our school through Kula and make corrections unless we enter banking information.  It is doubtful our school system will let us do that.  When is all this going to be resolved?

Thank you for participating in the MCR for Schools program, Jackie. We understand your concern and appreciate your feedback. Our goal is to have more funds than ever available for our community's schools. We will continue to work to make it easier for the community to donate codes and cash directly to their schools. For information on how school supporters can donate their points or cash, please visit CokeURL.com/SchoolFAQ. But for now, we're unable to provide a timeline of potential future updates.

I am concerned as well...many of my parents do not have Internet access and have been sending in the caps for us to input.  Our school also will not allow us to give out the banking information to Kula...not even a possibility.  I think we had about 5,000 points before everything changed.  I have been able to enter codes under my personal log in, but I can only add 75 points each week.  I have also been able to donate accumulated points to our school, but we have not seen any checks yet.

Help??? please....our school didn't want to wait for Coke to fix the MCR for Schools issues -- we have changed all vending machines to Pepsi.  Maybe Pepsi will step up to help all of us to provide much needed funds.

If it ain't broke don't fix it.  The system was working fine before...this should have never been changed until all the bugs had been worked out.

ear Marcia, we'll be happy to share your comments.  The new My Coke Rewards for Schools program allows MCR members to donate points collected via the MCR program to eligible schools. In the new program, points donated will be converted to cash and the school will receive a quarterly payment to be used on physical education, sports, technology, arts and/or classroom supplies.  In the event your school wishes to receive funds in the form of a check but does not provide Kula with the bank account information, checks will be mailed to your school's address as it appears in the National Center for Education Statistic's Database (http://nces.ed.gov/).

I'm a high school student representing my school coordinator. I'm part of my school's journalism staff which has recently brought back our newspaper to print. We were looking forward to using the MCR for Schools program to fund our printing costs. I took the responsibility in going out to the community and asking for their support in donating points. Within days, caps poured into our donation boxes and we were on our way to a reward to raffle off as part of a fundraiser.

Then one day I couldn’t login as a school coordinator. I spent hours searching online for the school coordinator login page but had no success. Then I found out that the school coordinator login was taken down "temporarily." Like you, I was entering in over 1,000 points per week, but I can only put in 75 now. There was no notification of this "temporary" alteration to the program; it wasn’t even posted to MCR's regular homepage. And, MCR is claiming that their "goal is to have more funds than ever available for [their] communities schools." So far they have not done anything to fix the problem.

The community is involved, schools were happy with the original funds, so why did they "temporarily" take the login down? I don’t even know if my school can even redeem any of our points now. My family and school district are faithful consumers of Coke products, and we want to work together with the community to keep our school's newspaper in print with the help of MCR, but we are now disappointed in how MCR has handled this situation. It's unfair to school coordinators like yourself to have to wait for MCR to do something to fix the problem. They have had ample time and many complaints; this program has left many extremely unsatisfied and dissapointed including myself.

I hope they will do something to resolve the situation in the very near future.
