My Coke Rewards is not letting me log in. Trying for hours now.

I've been a My Coke Rewards member for years, and have had the same e-mail address for nearly 20 years (yes, twenty). How can MCR suddenly not be able to verify my e-mail address? I suspect they're trying to force us to log in through social media to turn members into free advertisers for them. If I lose the over 4000 points I have accrued, I am going to be even unhappier than I am now.

Hello Kathy, When you login to the new site for the first time, you will be asked to sign the new Terms & Conditions and confirm your email address as a security measure. Once you've confirmed your email, all of your current account information, including points, will be waiting for you. At this time, social media is not a requirement to participate in our website. All members can enter codes and redeem points on Catalog rewards without utilizing social accounts.
