WHAT were you guys thinking? My family and I have been loyal customers, drinkers of Coca-Cola products of all types, and have used the My Coke Rewards site since 2007. When you made the change to the new site earlier this year, I waited to see how the program might evolve, but it hasn't. My family and I are done with all things Coke!
My children have grown up saving each and every bottle cap and code from cartons and carefully placing them in the "code jar" so they could be entered into our account each week. Initially, you offered entry of TEN CODES per week. After a few years, you changed this to a limit of 100 POINTS per week, but no worries....this was understandable. Then came the limit of 75 POINTS per week. But, we hung in there. I believe it was in 2015 that the social media and bronze, silver, and gold levels were added. STILL....we stuck with you! After all, the WIDE VARIETY of rewards offered made it worthwhile.
Your MCR program help teach my children the lesson of saving for something important to them. They sorted the caps, counted them....who knew the educational value this program would have for our family! Then you sent out the survey about the new program. We filled it out as a family. We carefully gave our input and looked forward to seeing the results.
This year you rolled out the new program and OH MY! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? The "rewards" are typically limited to two to three items, instead of a WIDE VARIETY of items. Even the organizations to support are limited. We are SO DISAPPOINTED in you, COCA-COLA. We've thrown away our "code jar" and all of our formerly precious codes and purchased a top of the line SODA STREAM machine.
OUR FAMILY IS DONE WITH COCA-COLA! Your new program is HORRIBLE!
