I was probably the first member to sign up for Coke rewards. I remember some of the loyalty keychain cards I signed up for, and always wished there was one for Diet Coke! I was very happy when the My Coke Rewards program was announced back then. I made it a hobby to save my caps and at the end of the year, was able to buy one thing or another with my points. First 300/week, then 200/week, then 100/week, and now 75/week ???.....It's bad enough that you save all year for something that is 2000 points, then go to redeem those points and find out that you can't redeem for anything for more than 200 points anymore!!!.....or the award value has doubled....I for one, am not interested in advertising for you via social media.....My advertising was in my recycle bin at the curb every week. I never thought Coke would actually make me resent buying your products, but I am starting to think that all this time, I was being taken for a ride. You would probably be better off just stopping the program. Because of all this jumping thru hoops to get a lousy 3 points, it is turning people off to buying your products, including me!!!! If you really think that you can make/force people to advertise for you on social media, I think you are wrong. The answers you give people on this board are disrespectful. You want us to jump thru hoops for a lousy 75 points a week, when you are laughing all the way to the bank because you also raised the point totals for anything other than a magazine subscription? I am not interested in 15 magazines. I actually thought I could get back at you and redeem for a free diet coke every week, only to find out you can only get one of those in a given 30 day period...lol
You know what?.....I had 1 or 2 diet Pepsi's last weekend, and they are pretty good. and I won't have to spend my free time collecting Coke caps that I can't input on your web site because I am over the 75 point limit.....What's next, 50 point weekly limit?....NO THANKS!.......Your program has reached the point where IT IS JUST NOT WORTH IT........Can't wait to read your canned response to a "former" loyal Diet Coke drinker......It was fun while it lasted, but you are not the only Diet soda product out there!....

I agree with the Customers of Coke products. Just cancel the program. Here on this site customers have been told many times that they are not right. This is no longer a loyalty program to reward you for your continued purchases of Coke products. I do not nor will I ever Twitter or have a Facebook account, and to penalize the Customers of Coke for deciding not to is unfair treatment. The Coke products we purchase still cost us the same as the people who choose to interact with social media. I have around 1500 caps that I have been needing to enter, with more purchases of Coke products every day. Thanks for your time on my dime. To the New " My No Coke Rewards Program ." That's not free for us, we buy your Coke products.

Hi Customer, thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that you are disappointed with our decision to extend our program through 2015.

At this time, social media is not a requirement to participate in our website. All members can enter codes and redeem points on Catalog rewards without utilizing social accounts. While participating in social Challenges will earn you status, simple acts such as completing your profile, watching videos, voting in polls and inviting friends will also move you along.

Hello, I am not disappointed with your decision to extend the program through 2015, just the direction it has gone. You keep saying in your comments :
" At this time, social media is not a requirement to participate in our website."
This just tells me the planned direction is to go there. I'm just a customer and I choose the direction that I go as well. I cannot change the program that MCR decides to use, but I will tell you that it does not feel REAL anymore. Thanks for hearing me out. No need to respond, we know the reply.

Hello Carol Ann, the majority of the rewards available are the same as they were in the traditional MCR program. We'll continue to add new rewards throughout 2015. Are you looking for something specific?

Hello longtimedietcokedrinker, Thank you for your feedback. These program changes have been implemented to help ensure the sustainability of our free program. They will allow us to continue to offer our members the rewards and sweepstakes you have come to love.  At this time, social media is not a requirement to participate in our website. All members can enter codes and redeem points on Catalog rewards without utilizing social accounts. While participating in social Challenges will earn you status, simple acts such as completing your profile, watching videos, voting in polls and inviting friends will also move you along. We're sorry to see you go.

Frankly B Smith, Your dancing around the complaints.  Meet them head on with answers like. . .Your Right, we failed to take into account our longtime loyal customers or. . . . . your right, we are trying to use social media to gain more market share or . . . . .your right, we should have grandfathered in our long time high point customers to keep them happy and in our pocket as our best promoters.

Instead you have failed miserably and should seek training on how to properly promote the brand.  My 13000 plus points are now worthless. . . .you know it, I know it and the sustainability of your MCR program in 2015 depends on US, . . . .not you.

Want to save us??  Remove the limits on what we can input and treat your diamond customers  better  (insert canned response here now)

The response is as standard as the 55 likes on her every comment. It's there, but has no meaning to loyal buying customers.

coke program is better than pepsi
here is an insight that was posted on here about pepsi program ...
Pepsi Rewards do not reward you for buying their product. There is no code entry. You get 5 points/day for logging into your account. 5 points/day for going to the Pepsi website. You get 5 points for reading an article. Once a month you get an email from Pepsi rewards. If you follow the link in the email and log into your account you get 10 points. This is once a month. You get 50 points/month for each of the 5 Instagram accounts they have (250 points/month). Same with the 5 Twitter accounts they have-50 points per page per month (250 points). You can tweet up to 5 hash tags they have for a total of 25 points/day. You can also check in with Four Square 3 times a day for a max of 150 points. Once a week you can follow a link to check out the Hard Rock Cafe menu and get 100 points/week. You get one time points for registering your birth day, your gender and one time points for connecting you Facebook page to your account. You also get a one time points credit for signing up for emails. For rewards you can enter sweeps for 100 points per entry. i-phone covers are 5,000 points. They have gift cards that are 10,000 for $10. Hats are about 7,500. They have some neat Pepsi memorabilia but that is anywhere from 20,000-85,000. A Pepsi lawn chair is 170,000 points.

well said longtimecokedrinker. i to am a long time member, since 2007. the recent changes to the webpage has been awful. Combine the problematic webpage with the reduced (again) amount of points allowed to be entered each week it doesn't seem worth it anymore.

A very valid complaint surrounded by the same standard replies from cokereps. I don't need to drink coca-cola. There's "always FREE tap water"! (sung to the tune of always coca-cola)

I was not looking for a specific response.

But in regard to the Official Rep responses I've seen posted to the numerous complaints about the new MCR....

.....in some cases no response might be better than giving every complaint the exact same copy/paste standard reply.

I must agree with the majority of what is being said here - The Coke folks have shot themselves in the foot, and now bleeding red everywhere! This program has turned into an insult to extremely loyal lifetime customers, and left a lasting, uneasy aftertaste with me.
