Valentine's Day Double Point Diet Coke cap promotion - "lost connection"

Have been trying all evening to enter codes from Diet Coke caps to get the V-Day double points promotion and the My Coke Rewards website fails to respond then reports "Oops - Lost connection to MyCokeRewards." Why do you offer a promotion that your system cannot support? I would hope you'd re-run this promotion for all the loyal members who were let down.

Even worse: after the "oops lost connection" message, when I try to re-enter the code, I get a message that the code has been entered already. So it's invalidating the codes but not giving me any points for them.
