Website and Mobile app issues

Over the last year, they have updated the My Coke Rewards website and it will no longer let me enter any codes. It just freezes and doesn't respond. The mobile app for Android used to work just fine, now it is updated to Coca Cola Happy Shopmate, and is no longer compatable with my mobile phone. I can't access my points to use at a vending machine. How am I supposed to enter codes if the MCR website is not working?

Hi, Brian. Please clear your cache and cookies or try using a different browser. MCR will perform best with Internet Explorer 10, Chrome and Firefox 19 or higher. Our website will not perform if you’re using private browsing mode. If you continue to have problems, please call 866-674-2653 between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. EST M–F. Select your language, press 1 to "find out how MCR works" and 0 to reach an agent. They can best assist you individually.

MCR: You might start out by cleaning up the code on the back end of your application. You have entirely too many calls to outside resources. I'm sure it is to support the site with add-driven click-to-pay content and such, but your MCR site is insanely messy.

For whatever purpose Coke had for starting the MCR program you have clearly defeated it on your own. Huge colossal mistake. You should fire your program manager now. Hire some fresh talent or shut the entire program down.

Your response indicates that you assume your customers are ignorant. I am seriously disgusted with MCR and the reward points program. You can plainly see that other customers are having the same issues. I have been entering Coke points online since 2003, and the website used to work perfectly, the mobile site used to work perfectly. You guys seriously screwed it up. Your response does not even address the mobile application problems. I'll bet you will tell me to upgrade my mobile phone, too.

I have been a web developer working online since 1995, I am a programmer and coder, I could do a better job creating your app with one hand tied behind my back, and I certainly understand how the internet works. I think it's high time to start drinking other brands. I have spent far too much money on Coca Cola.
